Caroline Wingert
B.S. Agriculture Economics; specialty in Pre-Veterinary Medicine
Caroline was raised on her family's farm in Ottawa, Kansas. She has been a K-State fan from the beginning - frequently attending K-State football games with her family while growing up. Her passion for agriculture developed as she raised and showed livestock until college. When selecting a college K-State was the only option she even considered as it would allow her to continue following that passion. It was in her agriculture economics classes that she developed an interest in policy. When she learned about the Flinchbaugh Food and Ag Policy Fellowship, she applied with the hope to learn more about policy. Caroline looks forward to being able to get a hands-on experience of the innerworkings of agriculture policy at the state and federal level.
