Abby Goins

Following her internship with Representative Mann, Abby remained on staff in his Manhattan office while completing her degree in Agricultural Economics, Global Food Systems Leadership, and Pre-Law. Following graduation, she moved to D.C. where she now serves as his Legislative Assistant, handling the mail program and the energy, water, and environment portfolio. “My internships with KGFA and Rep. Mann taught me the importance of humility and curiosity – asking thoughtful questions, being willing to try (and fail), and accepting advice are important skills when working in policy.”
